Job Description
Insight Global's healthcare client is seeking a mid-level Data Scientist to support healthcare initiatives focused on maternity, musculoskeletal, care paths, and clinical navigation. This role will focus on analyzing and modeling healthcare data to build and evaluate data-driven clinical journeys, applying statistical measurement and experimentation to improve outcomes across Medicare and commercial populations. The Data Scientist will design and analyze A/B tests to inform product and clinical decisions, work closely with other data scientists and business stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical solutions, and participate in weekly problem-solving sessions across data science sub-teams.

Skills and Requirements
3-6 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role
Strong SQL skills
Proficiency in Python or R
Solid foundation in statistical measurement and experimentation
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain analytical concepts clearly
Experience within the healthcare industry - Experience with medical claims data (strongly preferred)
Healthcare domain experience, particularly Medicare and commercial insurance domains
Experience with BigQuery and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Exposure to clinical data, care path development, or healthcare navigation solutions
