Job Description

How You’ll Shape Our Success

Ready for more than just a job? Start your career as a Field Service Technician with TSS, delivering critical on-site services that keep laboratories, pharmacies, and cleanrooms operating safely and efficiently. Each day brings something new as you work independently in the field, build strong customer relationships, and grow your technical skills.
We invest in your success with hands-on training, ongoing mentorship, and clear paths for career advancement. If you’re looking for a role with variety, autonomy, and real purpose—where you’re out in the field instead of behind a desk—this is your next move.

$1,500 sign-on bonus included — paid $750 after 60 days and $750 after six months of successful employment. This bonus reflects regional demand and the specialized nature of the work.

Your Day-to-Day Environment
  • This Field Service Technician role is based at a dedicated site in a regulated laboratory environment. Located in West Point, PA.
  • You’ll work consistently in one location, building familiarity with the equipment, systems, and day-to-day operations—rather than rotating between sites.
  • Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100 lbs while standing and walking for most of the day

What You'll Take Ownership Of

  • Perform testing, certification, calibration, and repairs across different lab environments with a strong focus on quality
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs, communicate clearly, and make sure the job is done right
  • Build strong relationships and be the main point of contact for customers on site
  • Complete reports and required paperwork on time to keep projects on track and clients update

Perks, Pay, and Benefits

  • Earn $20.00 – $27.50 an hour, based on your experience and skills
  • $1,500 sign-on bonus included — paid $750 after 60 days and $750 after six months of successful employment
  • Jumpstart your career with training and ongoing development opportunities
  • Enjoy comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Grow your future with a 401(k) and company match
  • Feel supported with life insurance plus short and long‑term disability
  • Generous PTO and 10 company‑paid holidays

Your Journey With Us

  • Recruiter Screen
  • Interview with the Hiring Manager (Occasionally onsite for some roles)
  • Conditional Offer
  • Background Check and MVR Review
  • Start your new career!

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree is a plus)
  • Background in customer service and some mechanical or electrical experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work
  • Good communication, basic math skills, and comfort using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently, manage your time, and travel (including some overnights)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Equivalent combinations of education, training, or hands-on experience are welcome. If you don’t check every box but are motivated, reliable, and ready to learn, we encourage you to apply—we’re looking for potential, not perfection.
