Job Description

We are looking for a "HR Assistant" responsible for supporting HR administrative processes, ensuring compliance, confidentiality and an excellent experience for employees and candidates.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
SALARY: $13 - $15 P/H + Benefits

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
-Coordinate interviews, appointments, and the candidate onboarding process.
-Maintain up-to-date employee files (physical and digital), ensuring confidentiality.
-Manage employee changes in HR and payroll systems (new hires, terminations, and updates).
-Serve as a liaison between employees and benefits providers (medical plan, insurance, 401k, etc.).
-Support employee exit processes and ensure compliance with required documentation.
-Coordinate with payroll, finance, and external agencies for employee benefits and other administrative procedures.
-Manage the inventory of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).
-Ensure compliance with Puerto Rico and federal labor regulations.
- Support internal Human Resources department activities and events.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Associate's degree in Business Administration/Human Resources and/or related fields.
-3 years of experience in Human Resources.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
-Bilingual (Spanish and English).
-Ability to give presentations to groups – Onboarding Process.
-Ability to handle numbers and possess analytical and auditing skills for reporting.
