Due to growth, we are currently seeking to add a Security Administrator to our exceptional team. You will be responsible for overseeing and resolving alerts and vulnerabilities for Charles IT and our clients, as well as executing on key takeaways from client monthly/weekly Security meetings. You will need to be outgoing, trustworthy, a team player, organized, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and work SOC and vulnerability management tickets as assigned
• Review, prioritize, and execute action items stemming from monthly and weekly client security meetings
• Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities within established service level objectives (SLOs)
• Triage security alerts and escalate incidents in accordance with defined procedures
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all activities, findings, and resolutions within the ticketing system
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding security issues, remediation status, and recommendations
• Collaborate with internal teams to support remediation efforts and strengthen overall client security posture
• Assist with routine security assessments and audits across client environments
• Stay informed on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices

Requirements

• ISC CC, SC-900, or other security certifications are a plus
• Bachelors degree in any IT field is a plus
• Experience with platforms like ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, and Office 365 is a bonus.
• Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, client-focused team.
• Enthusiastic about taking on challenges in a growing company with a diverse client base.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, including attending training sessions, obtaining relevant certifications, and participating in professional development opportunities.
