Senior Accountant Consultant for a dynamic contract engagement. This role offers an incredible opportunity to build your resume with a globally recognized brand with a
4/1 hybrid schedule. This position is ideal for an accountant who enjoys a mix of corporate accounting functions, with a day-to-day split focused roughly mostly on Revenue Accounting and some General Ledger (G/L) operations. We are looking for a sharp, self-starting professional who understands the fundamentals of revenue tracking and is eager to work on high-volume, corporate financial streams.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Accounting: Assist with the day-to-day accounting, tracking, and reconciliation of complex corporate revenue streams. Ensure transactional data from various billing platforms aligns accurately with financial records.
- General Ledger & Month-End Close: Support traditional G/L functions, including preparing and posting journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and executing variance analysis during the month-end close cycle.
- Data & Reconciliations: Research and resolve accounting discrepancies by analyzing high-volume transaction data.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Maintain clear, organized documentation to support internal controls and corporate accounting policies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience
- Revenue Foundation: Prior exposure to or foundational knowledge of Revenue Accounting processes is highly preferred. Deep, technical expertise in ASC 606 is not required, but a solid grasp of how revenue flows through a business is key.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is required. Familiarity with large corporate ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work independently in a remote environment, sharp attention to detail, and strong communication skills to collaborate with a hybrid team.
